Beyond the Grant: Braided Funding Strategies for Nonprofits
Hosted by The Fletcher Group. The webinar starts at 2 PM and will explore braided funding models that integrate grants, public funding, and program-generated revenue into a cohesive and sustainable financial framework. Seed Sower Executive Director Jay Phillips will start by helping you understand the structural challenges that contribute to nonprofit financial instability, including over-reliance on restricted grants, misalignment between funding streams and service delivery, and the absence of long-term revenue planning. Phillips will then go on to explain "braided funding" and how recovery-focused organizations can align diverse revenue sources—such as Medicaid reimbursement, transportation billings, workforce development partnerships, and philanthropic investments—to support core operations while expanding services. Webinar is free but you must register in advance. Details and registration at The Fletcher Group website
